Do I need planning permission for an extension?

Many single-storey rear extensions fall under permitted development, but it depends on size, position and your property. We advise on this at the first visit and can liaise with the local authority on your behalf.

How long does an extension take?

A typical single-storey extension takes 8–14 weeks from breaking ground to handover. Double-storey and open-plan projects can take longer, and we give you a realistic programme before we start.

Can you also fit the kitchen or bathroom inside the extension?

Yes. Kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, plumbing and flooring are all part of what we do, so the whole project is managed by one team.
