How we work

From first chat to handover, one clear path

Good building work is as much about communication as craft. Here is exactly what happens when you ask JP Carpentry to take on your project — and what you can expect from us at every stage.

Our approach

One point of contact. One team. One clear programme — from the first conversation to the final clean-up.

No pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about your space, your budget and what is possible — then a plan you can hold us to.

  • Free Home visit & quote
  • Written Quotation, no hidden extras
  • 5 steps Start to handover
The process
  1. Step 01 of 05

    Talk to us

Call, message or fill in the form. We will arrange a free home visit at a time that suits you and listen to what you want to achieve.

No pressure, no sales pitch — just an honest conversation about your space, your budget and what is possible.

  2. Step 02 of 05

    Design & quote

We measure up, talk through layouts, materials and finishes, and provide a clear written quotation with no hidden extras.

For extensions and lofts we can arrange drawings, structural calculations and planning or building regulations applications.

  3. Step 03 of 05

    Plan & schedule

Once you are happy, we agree a start date and a programme of works, order materials and line up any specialist trades.

You get one point of contact throughout, and we tell you in advance what is happening and when.

  4. Step 04 of 05

    Build

Our team carries out the work with care — protecting your home, keeping the site tidy and keeping you updated every step.

Carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and decorating are all delivered in-house with electrics by our certified partner.

  5. Step 05 of 05

    Finish & handover

We walk the finished project through with you, deal with any snags straight away and hand over a clean, completed space.

Then we ask one thing: if you are happy, tell your friends — most of our work comes from recommendations.
